Announcement | Rohan Morris appointed Co-Curator

Wallflower Photomedia Gallery is excited to announce a staffing reshuffle - Rohan Morris has joined Kristian Häggblom as co-curator in 2015 and looking forward. Rohan has been involved behind the scenes at WPG for sometime and is now a key player.

                                               Morris & Häggblom circa 2013

A little about Rohan Morris:

Born and raised in Red Cliffs (1984), Morris brings an expanding knowledge of contemporary art, modern structural development and a passion for regional communities. Currently the Development Coordinator at Arts Mildura, he has previously been the Curator of whitecubemildura and the Assistant Curator of Mildura Palimpsest Biennale #9. With a background of Graphic Arts and Protective Care (Social Work), Morris is currently undertaking his Masters of Visual Arts by Research at La Trobe University. Morris is investigating reconnoitering identity performance and masculinity through installation, performance, photography and still/moving documentation.

Wallflowerians look forward to working more closely with Rohan in the future.

There will soon be an interview with Rohan about his curatorial aspirations and below is a sample of Rohan's work.
